I am not a fan of Piolo Pascual and not even a friend to him, but I felt sad when people keep on posting criticism and see people keep on mocking him here in Facebook or any social sites.

Come-on gentlemen and gorgeous ladies grow-up it is not your relationship which not turned out successful here and even if it you who is involved you cannot destroy an individual reputation just because the relationship did not work.

When I shoot one concert event (Ayala Inspire Concert) were Piolo was there performing as a guest singer I saw the crowd eagerly wanted to to take a snapshot and a video of him, even how far they were from the stage it did not matter to them as long as they can take a glimpse of him. And after the concert when my wife went to the restroom the janitress asked my wife is she saw Piolo and my wife nodded, the janitress of the mall regretted that she did not make it to see Piolo performing on stage or even a glimpse of him.

My point is stop mocking people whether celebrity or not, after-all what harm did he do unto you that gives you the right to mock the person or even destroy the person’s reputation?

In Piolo Pascual’s case whether he is or not what is mocked with, he did not make harm to us but despite of all the struggles he experienced I saw the spirit of the man who continues to entertain us and stayed gentleman in-front to those people who mocks him.

MANILA, Philippines – What was once a short stretch of asphalt that takes one from Makati Avenue into the heart of Ayala Center’s Greenbelt complex has long acquired a curious monicker for itself.

The “Zobel Tunnel,” called such by the jeepney drivers that have no doubt passed through its lighted confines thousands of times through the years.

Curiously, the tunnel has become a destination in itself. Mallers and pedestrians stop at the curb to admire its walls and, inevitably, take a picture of themselves in the foreground.

What gives? The jeepney drivers got it right. The tunnel has become sort of a personal gallery (though he hesitates to call it so) for Ayala Corporation Chairman Emeritus Jaime Zobel de Ayala. Shunning air-conditioned, sterile indoor confines, Zobel has chosen to share his creations with the world at large through the highly traversed artery.

One needn’t go into a museum to admire art. One needn’t even disembark from his vehicle.

Through the years, the Greenbelt Tunnel that now informally and popularly bears Zobel’s name has showcased the beauty of nature through the lens of the Zobel patriarch. First came a rendering of leaves, butterflies in midflight then a summer interaction in the beach of Mindoro.

“It all started years back when I kept passing by a rather dull, gray tunnel in Makati which busy cars used to traverse, going from one mall to another,” Zobel shares. “Since then, the tunnel has sort of taken a life of its own… a venue which, hopefully, cheers up the passersby. Nothing more, nothing less.”

Cheering up the passersby is something ingrained in the famous “Ayala way.” Through the years, open spaces are looked at as opportunities not just to afford a breath of fresh air, but to inspire, to move, to drink in beauty – whether through natural elements or man-made aesthetics.

When I was in London for a business travel I honestly admit it was mixed emotion. First I’m excited for it is my first time to travel outside Philippines and on the other hand I’m worried if I will be able to carry on the pressure in my shoulder that I am not going to the foreign land for fun but to learn, collaborate and share.

At first it was really surprisingly amazing and I’m speechless of the weather, it was already 10PM but the sky seems to be at 5PM. But as days passed-by there I started to feel the pressure. Two weeks passed and the knowledge transfer plan was a bit delayed and I started to see the real picture of the job I am going to do and all things seems unorganized, ideas popping-in and popping-out. Honestly I am completely have no idea where I am going to start and how should I start and who should initiate.

On the third week I made a decision I need to start on something and I have to be patient for things I need for me to be equipped, with prayer that I need His help and guidance, with my manager’s support the starting point begun. And after that decision everything follows and everything works smoothly. Sad to say I only have two months left to absorb everything I need but happy to share that I was not alone all the time on my plans.

Grateful to have a friend, Jason who accompanies me from other sites and introduced me to people whom I can connect with and not to mention the breakfast with rice and the Chinese take away stores. Happy my manager introduced me to him and Jason was accommodating and it seems he knows what I need, the bond of friendship was established in a very short period of time. Maybe because we have in common we both have Asian blood. Happy to have Paul S. as well who patiently shares his knowledge with me even though we have to extend his time a bit in the office.

Muslim, Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Catholic or no matter what religion we believe we only have one faith. And our faith lead us of who we are and how we are defined by others. We should not be define by our faith but we should be define by our action. And action have two result either the good or bad.

There are only two types of people in this small world we called home – the good and the bad. Their actions were bounded either by hatred or by love. But what a great and serene place we all have if hatred is embraced by love. If we moved by courage and persevere because of determination and succeed because of letting go anger and pride and hug passion and learn to listen and understand.

We are gifted with choice in order to make the difference. To start small good deed and make a big difference to others.

We may differ in culture but we are gifted with respect. We may differ in different languages but we are gifted with a smile. When we speak as one with love and humility, with respect to each other’s dignity we complete the puzzle that we are one family either Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu or even in race Asian, African, black or white.

And we live in this HOME peacefully for …

We who are many are one body and each member belongs to all the others. (Romans 12:5).
